Fabulous experience and delicious meal at this foodie gem in the Auvergne. Terrific courgette cream soup with local mozzarella/sumptuous and tasty pork chops, salted roast potatoes, tender buttery haricot and white beetroot with a pesto jus. Genius food. One of Puy de Dome's best kept secrets. Le Table du Barbu. After a delicious meal packed full of local ingredients, an impromptu musical extravaganza with world class music. What a great evening, full of warmth and creativity. Don't miss this place The atmosphere and the menu are guaranteed to delight. Big thanks to chef, Frank, and all the terrific musicians.

Great small restaurant with local foods, the Magret is to die for, I advice ordering an entrée however since it is a smaller dish, the cheese plate has local st nectaire. It was yummy

Great bistro style wine bar with fantastic food. Tonight on the menu- country paté with herbs, beef with bacon and organic pork in wine. All local ingredients- absolutely delicious. The wine choices are beautifully curated and with home made deserts ( I had a silky crunchy crème brûlée) and divine local cheese platter it has to get 5 stars. We are fussy about eating out because we cook at home every night and we love good ingredients. This was such a great find and we highly recommend. Notified in advance, the chef, Frank, will cook a vegetarian dish. 6€ starter, 14€ Plat, 5-6€ desert. Wines begin at 3€ a glass and the owner really know his wine. Amazing choices. Fabulous relaxed atmosphere and a great new local restaurant. Don’t miss it!
